13th June (Saturday) 10.30am – 5.30pm
HAND PAPERMAKING Techniques I.
This is a one-day workshop on hand papermaking techniques, using natural fibres of cotton, bamboo, abaca and esparto grass combined with recycled material. Participants will be introduced to basic, traditional and contemporary techniques of hand paper making. Incorporating dried flowers, herbs and other plant material into layers of wet pulp, they will create several different papers, textured pieces and unique images.
