Sat 15th October : Morning : 10.30-1pm : Introduction to mosaic, to materials and design and start the mosaic piece.

Afternoon : 2-4.30pm : Completion of the gluing of the mosaic.

Sunday 16th October : Grouting and polishing of the mosaic, followed by a slide show.

Come to the studio and learn the technique of ceramic slip casting. You will learn the
process of model and mold making, decorating techniques, glazing and firing. Use it as a chance to make
that hand made piece for your home ,or a personalised gift for a friend, such as a vase, a bowl, a tile or something
of your own choice.

The Studio Bennettsbrige

A traditional skill easier than knitting and sewing.

A versatile technique that allows you to use all sorts of material

On the day :

Create your own frame from cardboard

Learn how to make a simple pattern

Experiment with color combination

Get tips on reusing and recycling material Learn basic weaving and multi-color patterns

Weave your own mitten and go home with your own mitten and the skills and tools to do more

Fee 65 €

Use of tools and refreshment included

Bring your own yarn, even small left over, or choose from the ready-made kits on the day.

Come with a pack lunch

FAMILY MORNING

This is an opportunity for family members to spend some quality time together, while working on a

creative project. Whether its your mother, partner your sister or your child, it's time away from the stresses of

work and school, where you can enjoy each others company while creating a unique, memorable piece.

CHILDRENS AFTERSCHOOL WORKSHOP

A weekly class that gives children an opportunity to get creative and learn new skills,

while they make new friends. Children will experience the ceramic process from making,

and glazing to firing, and will be able to bring home their handmade masterpieces.
